M Kamrath Designs is an alternative, independent book press specializing in handmade books with unique bookbinding techniques. My passion for reading, art sketching, and creativity drives me to craft each book with the utmost care and attention to detail. With a focus on quality and originality, I aim to bring a tactile experience in the form of a book to readers and artistic aficionados.
I love to help authors and creatives explore options to put their art in a creative book format (physical or electronic) and display their work for others to enjoy.
To the best of my ability, no generative artificial intelligence was used to create the visual content on this website. I, as the publisher, expressly prohibit any entity from using the visual or textual content of this web publication to train artificial intelligence technologies or machine learning models. It is my philosophy to only use human-created content in my book designs.

I remember browsing the Scholastic book catalog back in elementary school and circling almost every book to add to my wish list.
A college course in book making started my adventure and I continued on in workshops and self learning book binding and box making techniques.
I became bored with typical bookcloth available to me so I then began to make my own book cloth designs and I'm an equal opportunity hoarder of paper and my own dyed fabric.
I'm also a voracious reader of ebooks and audiobooks, mainly romances - basically I love literature in every form (even opera).
